IVS was born when two friends and pet owners commiserated one day over the difficulty one was having giving prescription pills to Charlie Parker, his sick dog, and the other complained that his cat, Theodore, was getting too old to eat his daily vitamins.
Why does it have to be so hard?
After years of research and development, and a fair amount of funny faces from Theodore, IVS officially got started in 2006. The Company’s initial product, PetStrips™, enables pet owners to let tissue-thin vitamins melt in their pets’ mouths while their pets enjoy the treats. Importantly, PetStrips™ delivers vital ingredients without water or the need to measure exact dosages.
Following upon the breakthrough of PetStrips™, the Company began developing the following novel products:
- PetAqua Plus – Powdered nutraceuticals that can be poured directly into bottled water
- Nutraceutical-infused, electrolyte-enhanced, and purified bottled water
- An organic veneer that will envelope third-party pills for easier consumption
- Nutraceutical “chews” that enable pets to enjoy their vitamins as they would a typical treat
And there is more where that came from.
IVS continues to follow two goals:
- to provide the most innovative, healthful, and advanced pet care products in the world; and
- to help Charlie Parker and Theodore live as long and be as healthy as possible.
